Goodness! I've been terrible with my updates.
I can't believe July was my last update...Tisck tisck...
Sorry to all my regular followers, as you would know it's been a furiously busy few months, but the fog has cleared for one day and I am determined to publish these exciting updates!
So first cab off the rank is my brand-spanking-shiny-new-truly-splendid fit-out. We built this way back in the first week of September and had to SQUEEZE the build in over two days between shoots. Eekshk! Sometimes my Super Woman complex can really get the better of me, and as you'll see, others get dragged into my hurricane too!
------------
Build one:
Luke, my friend and man of many many trades, came in to help out. This is after I pushed, pulled, carted, carried and delivered SEVENTY-FOUR Ikea boxes to the studio for the build.
This is our first (and oh so rewarding) step beginning the build.
------------
Build two:
Next level takes form.
------------
Build three:
Thinking, thinking, thinking.
------------
Build four:
My lovely (and super strong) man G is roped in as the clock hits 9pm. He lends a shoulder to lift that entire unit while Luke bolts everything into place.
At this stage our very exciting lights have been fitted into each cubicle as well.
------------
Build five:
Even our poor seamstress is roped in as time ticks way. She works on draws with me while Luke and G install glass doors and door/draw handles.
------------
Build six to thirty-seven:
Wow. I totally lost my photography steam and we completely lost control so I didn't have anytime to photograph our progress... The next images are of the finished build. Whoops!
------------
Ta-da!
The finished product. But as you can see, I've already run out of room!!!
Don't you want to dive right in?!
Check out our new Pony Heels.
Not for the faint hearted ladies!
Our circa 19th century accordion given to me by my sister for my 30th birthday. I adore! Ooh, and shoes and hats galore.
All our makeup for our newly created hens parties!
Draws of silky delights!
